Stay Inn Kausani is our first foray into building a series of unique experiences for tourists visiting the state of Uttarakhand. The first of the venture that will slowly develop into a series of offerings that we would like you to partake under the larger umbrella of "Stay Inn Uttarakhand"
As Stay Inn Kausani, we want to present an array of comfortable yet unique stays from where you get an opportunity to gain deeper experience of local culture, destination, activities and food.
We want to give you the option to spend time as an experiential traveller instead of a tourist as you learn about the routines of the local people - what drives, how they get their food on the plate, what sustains them; and also what gives them happiness in the form of food, music and dance.
Our aim would be to create roads so that you can get a closer insight and join in their celebrations. We would love to host you for weeks instead of days while you write a book warming yourself with fresh tea from the estate nearby or enjoy a lovely supper from farm-to-table or just relax watching the sun do down shining its light on the majestic Himalayan Mountains.

This is a great comfy place. I love that the views of the Uttarakhand Himalayan range are always available but also that it is surrounded by a tea garden and fruit gardens. Really lovely plus great service and good food. And the host is extremely friendly and very helpful.
A must stay and much better in terms of what it offers compared to the standard set of hotels in Kausani.
My family stayed in Kausani 03 days in this week of May and the trip was made so memorable by the entire team of "Stay Inn Kausani" . Right from the time of booking Mr. Bisht, and the owner of the hotel supported my family at every step. He and his crew made our stay absolutely pleasant and comfortable.
The services provided at the resort were excellent. Each and every team member at the resort were so courteous and helpful that for a moment it did not seem to family that they are far away from home. The resort is near to tea garden and very well located. You can see the Himalayas right from hotel’s courtyard.
The view of the surrounding hills and trees brought in the calmness and peace which we were looking for. I highly recommend Stay Inn for solo as well as group travelers who are looking for some wonderful time and excellent services at this lovely hill station..
Had a great stay at Stay Inn Kausani, its a new property but has homely feel to it. The owner of this property is very kind and was available all time if anything is needed. Helped us plan our itinerary in kausani and gave us some local insights about the places. Its right in the center of main market and tea gardens. Tea garden, Shawl factory are also walkable from this homestay.
The food was good, home made, and some authentic pahadi dishes were also in the menu.
The himalayan views was also available from our rooms. So we don't have to go to special spots to see the himalayan range.
All in all excellent time spent at this property.
